The AE Society is delighted to announce it is beginning an educational partnership with the publisher Holythorn Press (https://www.holythornpress.com/) Its founders Sally North and James North both have a long standing interest in AE. They are the recent authors of the groundbreaking A History of Irish Magic (2024). James North (pictured above) has given numerous lectures on AE and Theosophy since 2016. He is particularly interested in the Dublin Hermetic Society established by AE, Yeats and Charles Johnston and in the relationship between Hermeticism and Druidry. Sally North is currently engaged in new research into fellow-artists of AE’s circle including Ella Young and Althea Gyles. We look forward to soon sharing more information on a new class they will be teaching through Holythorn Press that aligns with our mission of renewing interest in the legacy of AE and the network of friends that he influenced.
